Tampa Bay Rays prospect Paul Phillips tossed an inning of scoreless relief to earn the save in the Montgomery Biscuits 4-3 win over the Carolina Mudcats in Fridays Double-A Southern League contest. The save was the seventh of the season for Phillips (Blissfield High School). The right-handed relief pitcher struck out one and allowed a hit in his inning of work.
